Position Description / Objective:The Operations Agent is responsible for communication with Centralized Load Planning, dispatch, and the Operations Control Center as needed in English via phone and or system messages. The Operations Agent will communicate weight & balance loading instructions to the Passenger Ramp Lead and any pertinent information to passenger service, fueling and maintenance services. The Operations Agent will be responsible for flight preparation, en-route flight assistance, post-flight activities, and re-dispatch. Duties include conveying flight information including but not limited to weight and balance charts, loading instructions, load sheets and Captain’s load information and manifests. The Operations Agent will update systems with the fuel density information and print planned and final fuel sheets. Prepare and retain documents for the flight file by collecting all documents specified by the carrier. Provide flight crew with the required briefings. Maintain a message file containing all messages in connection with the services performed by NAAS and handling companies pertaining to each flight for a minimum of 90 ninety days. Coordinate with Supervisors, Customer Service, Cargo service, dispatch, flight crew members, central load planning, and operation control centers. The Operations Agent is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work area at all times. Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies and maintain a positive and friendly attitude with customers and coworkers at all times. Other duties may be assigned.
Required skills and experience:Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree required. Associate’s Degree preferred. Combination or aviation related experience and education is a plus. Excellent work ethic and demonstrated ability to act with purpose and urgency. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with others. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Weekend and holiday work required. Must possess a valid Alaska drivers license with a good driving record. Must attend and pass required training. Position Description / Objective:The Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible to safely direct and coordinate all customer service functions in support of all contracted clients handled by Northern Air Aviation Services in Anchorage. He/she will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Companys policies and applicable laws. The Passenger Service Supervisor will assist, supervise and develop passenger service team members to ensure a differentiated and quality customer service experience for passengers. He/she will monitor day to day performance of the station in order to ensure customer service, accurate and timely execution of all process and procedures and maintain the highest level of quality. The Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible for the administration, supervision and training of all passenger service personnel and for keeping all station facilities, equipment and activities in compliance with all federal, state, local and airport regulations, policies and procedures. The Passenger Service Supervisor will evaluate and audit work processes to ensure adherence to process standards and demonstrate knowledge of government regulations, company policies and procedures including but not limited to: Dangerous goods acceptance and handling, proper aircraft loading, flight security procedures and safety incident/hazard reporting. The Passenger Service Supervisor is responsible for preparing and approving time sheets, maintaining station records, completing reports and any other administrative support required by station management. Travel may be required. Other duties as assigned.
Required skills and experience:Bachelors degree preferably in aviation; equivalent work experience will be considered. Must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to direct others on his/her team. Must be able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand operations procedures, rules and regulations. Must have ability to conduct oneself with professionalism and have the desire to provide excellent customer service. Must have a working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn clients proprietary software. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekend. Position Description / Objective:The Passenger Ramp Agent is responsible for the assigned shift operations of Northern Air Aviation Services by performing the following duties: responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times, observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including the performance of equipment checks. The Passenger Ramp Agent will comply with all safety procedures and station policies, and is responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company materials. The Passenger Ramp Agent will transfer baggage to other airlines and assist in ramp set-up and storage of equipment. Cabin grooming and servicing of aircraft as needed (aircraft lavatories, potable water, window wash, and cabin service items). The Passenger Ramp Agent will receive and position aircraft using standard marshalling hand signals and push back aircraft. Assist with materials handling and cargo processing at the warehouse facility with adherence to all procedures in the manuals for Cargo Service Agents. Other duties may be assigned.
Required skills and experience:Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree required, additional education or aviation experience is a plus. Position Description / Objective:The 737 Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with customer maintenance manuals, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins, Company and Customer policies and procedures, and applicable FAA regulations by performing the following duties: scheduled & unscheduled hangar and ramp maintenance and inspections, troubleshooting discrepancies, accomplishing repairs and component replacement, periodic aircraft overnight checks, service checks, aircraft line maintenance, servicing, aircraft deicing, and dispatch for customer aircraft in a FAR Part 145 Repair Station. The 737 Aircraft Mechanic reports to the Lead Mechanic for the shift assigned. Other duties as assigned by the Lead Mechanic.
Required skills and experience:High school graduate or GED. FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate required. B737-200 & B737-700NG experience preferred. FAR Part 145 Repair Station Experience preferred. Aircraft structural/sheet metal experience desired. Ability to move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Ability to stand on ladders for up to 2 hours. Possess a valid Alaska drivers license with good driving record for past five years. Regular attendance and shift work is required.
